REQUIREMENTS AND CHALLENGES

The customer’s production lines are based on many subsystems integrating and working together, and each subsystem is made of different types of devices and machinery. They needed to connect all these subsystems and devices, and leverage IoT and AI technologies to enrich them with Industry 4.0 features – like remote monitoring and predictive maintenance – to create a unique value proposition for their customers.

ESF also enabled the integration and deployment of third-party software on the edge, and a seamless integration with Microsoft Azure for data integration and with Everyware Cloud for remote device management and updates.
